Serving an Eiffel Tower and a Parisian Cobb club sandwich, Café Fraîche has opened at 300 E. Washington Blvd. in the Lamplight Inn of Fort Wayne.
The Eiffel Tower is stacked with turkey, bacon, Swiss cheese, tomato and lettuce on a croissant. The Parisian Cobb has turkey, ham, Swiss cheese, cucumbers, tomato and lettuce on white or wheat bread.
Other sandwiches include a BLT, grilled cheese, chicken salad croissant, ham and Swiss, vegetarian and Santa Fe turkey wrap. Prices range from $3.25 to $5.95.
In addition to a BLT salad and a Café Fraîche salad ($4.95 each), there also are bagels and Old Crown Coffee Roasters coffee.
The cafés name is French for fresh and is pronounced the same way. Hours are 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays, and the café offers free Wi-Fi access.

Albright’s offers holiday sausage, hours
Albrights Meats & Deli, 4924 S. Calhoun St., will have extended hours this holiday weekend.
The store will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday and Monday.
In addition to its regular items, such as deli salads, wings and ribs (by the case, slab or in a three-pack), Albrights has a holiday-inspired sausage, which is its spiciest version. Its an andouille sausage with habanero pepper called Fourth of July.

Recite nation’s pledge for free ice cream
To celebrate National Ice Cream month in July, The Works Ice Cream Café in Wabash has joined the I Pledge project.
From 4 to 7 p.m. every Monday in July, children 12 and younger who recite the Pledge of Allegiance from memory will receive a coupon for a free scoop of ice cream in a cup or cone.
The children must be accompanied by an adult.

Lunch at Covington with an Olive Twist
The Olive Twist and Covington Bar & Grill are teaming up for some lunch events on Wednesdays starting July 13.

Loving Café, 7605 Coldwater Road, will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
All three Fazolis restaurants in Fort Wayne are offering table service. That means servers will now deliver meals, with traditional plates and silverware, to customers in the dining room. Ordering is still done at the counter.
