Next time you have a pizza craving in the wee hours of the morning, you can drive up to the new Bengino’s Pizza and place an order at the window.
The tiny restaurant has opened at 3213 St. Joe Center Road in Riviera Plaza. It’s in the former Higher Grounds Espress and Java Depot.
The menu of pizza and subs includes breakfast versions of both (with eggs, ham and sausage, for example).
Hours are 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sundays to Thursdays and 6 a.m. to 4 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
Other restaurant news includes the following:
•Subway has opened at 1518 Wells St. in the former Brewer’s Art Supply. Hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays.
•Lemongrass is planning to open at 2805 E. State Blvd., which previously was Five Stars Asian Cuisine Restaurant and the Ethiopian Restaurant.
•Waynedale Pancake House, 110 W. Columbia St., has closed.
•The Bakery, 2461 Hobson Road, has closed.
ThEatery serving Sunday brunch
ThEatery, 528 N. Jefferson St., next door to the New Huntington Theater in downtown Huntington, has started serving Sunday brunch.
The buffet, which is available from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., includes omelets and soups, plus other dishes that will change weekly, such as chicken Cordon Blue, sandwiches, Caesar salad, pasta salad, potato salad, fruit and desserts.
It’s $8.95 or $6.95 for kids 12 and younger. Beverages are extra.
ThEatery’s other hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
The lunch and dinner menus include steaks and prime rib, pasta, burgers and sandwiches, salads, soups, appetizers and desserts. A full bar is available.

The restaurant, which opened in January, is owned by Rich Najuch and Joel Froomkin.
They also own the New Huntington Theater and run its supper club, which begins its fourth season in June.
“People liked (that) food so much; they kept saying ‘Why don’t you open a restaurant?’ ” Najuch says.

Joseph Decuis Farm sets ACRES gala
The annual Blue Jean Gala, a fundraiser for ACRES, will be June 9 at Joseph Decuis Farm in Columbia City.
The event runs from 5 to 9 p.m., with dinner (and wine) served at 5:30 p.m.
There also will be music by the Possum Trot Orchestra, a silent auction, hay wagon tours, kids’ activities and a bonfire.
Admission is $50 or $25 for children.
