Cameroon beats Macedonia 1-0 in friendly

SKOPJE, Macedonia — Substitute Matthew Mbuta grabbed a late goal as Cameroon beat Macedonia 1-0 in a friendly match Wednesday.

The Indomitable Lions could have taken the lead just 10 minutes into the game, when a header from Sebastien Bassong rattled the bar.

Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto'o caused the Macedonians trouble for long spells of the match but it was Mbuta who eventually scored in the winner in the 75th minute.
