I Hear the Train A Comin'

Camera: NIKON D2Hs

Shutter: 1/320 s

Aperture: f/13

Exposure Setting: Manual (Pattern Metering)

ISO: 200

Strobe Flash: Did Not Fire

Lens Focal Length: 52 mm

White Balance: Manual

Editor's Note: Sam took the opportunity here to create a nice near-silhouette. By underexposing the people and the train, he was able to create a sense of mood and turn the blue sky into pretty much the only color in the photograph. Shooting in manual mode gave him more control over the situation.
