Different look

Notre Dame coaches will have a different look to their headwear when the Irish play host to Michigan at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Coach Brian Kelly showed off a visor that had the intertwined ND that was colored like the American flag, and he said the staff will be wearing hats and visors like that to commemorate 9/11.

"I think it was an effort that was launched by Michigan and Notre Dame, and adidas wanted to be part of that as well," Kelly said. "It was more of an effort by both universities to recognize 9/11."
