Ex-Redskin Jordan dismissed from BSU

Former North Side standout Justin Jordan was dismissed from the Ball State men’s basketball team because of academic reasons, according to the school’s website.

The 6-foot Jordan, a 2009 Indiana All-Star, transferred from Saint Louis, where he averaged 4.9 points last season.

“Justin and I met several times over the past few days to discuss his situation and he is fully aware of how his decisions directly impacted his ability to be here at Ball State and a member of our basketball program,” Ball State Billy Taylor said.

“Even though Justin had to sit out this season per NCAA transfer rules, I was looking forward to working with him on the practice court.

“I certainly wish Justin the best as he begins to pursue other opportunities for his athletic and academic interests.”
