FORT WAYNE – City firefighters found a victim inside a burning apartment before dawn Thursday on the south side.In addition to roving patrols this month, Kosciusko County and local law enforcement agencies participating in the county’s drunken driving task force have scheduled a sobriety checkpoint.
Starting at 10 p.m. Sept. 17 and ending at 2 a.m. Sept. 18, there will be a checkpoint at Homestead Backyard Grille, 9665 S. State Road 15, north of Silver Lake.
