Injury updates

Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly said linebacker Steve Paskorz will be out at least three weeks with a strained knee.

Paskorz injured his knee last week in a non-contact situation during practice and underwent an MRI exam last Thursday.

Kelly also said Anthony McDonald (knee) is making progress, and that the linebacker looked good Monday at practice.

"I think we are getting healthier on one end with McDonald, but we won't know on Paskorz for about three weeks," Kelly said.

Linebacker David Posluszny is still hampered by a hamstring injury and is doubtful for Saturday's season and home opener against Purdue, Kelly said.
