Friday's crowd of 7,936 fans pushed Fort Wayne's season attendance to 384,866. That topped the old franchise regular-season mark of 378,529 set in the first season at Parkview Field a year ago.
"It's like it's not even real playing in this stadium," first baseman Nate Freiman said. "Playing in front of crowds like this. People get so fired up, the fireworks, the promotions. There couldn't be a better place to play."
