Former major leaguer Jacque Jones has been named the hitting coach for the Fort Wayne TinCaps.
Jones had a .Jeudy Valdez went 3 for 4 with two doubles and two RBI in Fort Wayne's 4-1 win against Lansing Monday. Valdez is tied with Nate Freiman for the team-lead in RBI (73). Catcher Jason Hagerty also had an RBI, his 70th of the season.
