Former major leaguer Jacque Jones has been named the hitting coach for the Fort Wayne TinCaps.
Jones had a .The TinCaps lowered their magic number to four by beating Lansing 4-1 Monday. Any combination of Fort Wane wins and Lansing losses equaling or exceeding four for the rest of the year clinches a playoff spot for the TinCaps.
