The Fort Wayne area will be well represented at the 2010 John Lucas Basketball Midwest Invitation Camp in Louisville, Ky. on Oct. 2-3.

Asked to attend are: eighth graders V.J. Blackmon and Sean McGee; freshmen James Blackmon Jr. (Bishop Luers) and Grant Sinn (Canterbury); sophomores Brenton and Bryson Scott (Northrop), Austin Hatch (Canterbury) and V.J. Beacham (Harding).

Only 30 athletes from each class (grades 8-11), throughout the Midwest were invited to attend. The camp staff will include former Division I coaches and assistant coaches and former professional coaches.

In order to get a player into the event a recommendation must come from a college coach, high school coach or AAU coach.
