Shooter's Comments: The road crew was working in front of the Lima Marketplace and the hard part here was finding a way to get off of Lima Road and park the car. It was probably about 90 degrees mid-afternoon Thursday but the temps on the new pavement was much higher - my shoes were beginning to stick. I don't know how the workers deal with it everyday.

Editor's Note: I hope Sam's choice of a long lens here gave him a little relief from the heat. It did compress the space and allow the heat waves to be really visible. The workers on the left almost look like a mirage.
