It didn't take long for Fort Wayne to get back on the winning track. One day after seeing a season-high eight-game win streak end, the TinCaps bounced back by beating Lake County 10-6.

Danny Payne and Nate Freiman hit home runs. The TinCaps led 5-0 after two innings on the way to their 16th win in 20 games.

"It was just a matter of them coming out and putting that one behind them and to continue to strive for their goal, which is a playoff spot at the end," TinCaps manager Jose Flores said.
