Contributions from the pen

Jeff Ibarra had one of his best outings in relief, throwing two scoreless innings in Fort Wayne's 2-1 win against Burlington Saturday.

Ibarra struck out three and walked one to pick up his first save.

"Ibarra did great," said first baseman Nate Freiman, who hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning for the team's only runs. "To pick up your starter like that and to hold them down gave us that win."
