Indiana has decided it won't sign a new contract to play Kentucky in men's basketball, ending a rivalry that has been played every year since 1969.Indiana men's basketball coach Tom Crean thinks the addition of Nebraska to the Big Ten is "great."
"Anything that continues to make the Big Ten as good as it is fantastic," he said during an interview Sunday. "Any time you can add a big university like that with outstanding sports programs and facilities and that has the national recognition that it has in certain sports. Football comes to mind, but people forget just how good they are in women's basketball, how good they are in baseball and volleyball and many other areas. I'm excited that they are in the league."
