Keyser lures you off the couch.

Kiss that comfy spot goodbye

My cat Keyser is a thief. And not just any garden-variety pickpocket – a devious con-kitty.

You see, Keyser likes to sit on the warm spot on the couch. And if you get up to go to the bathroom or grab a snack, you can kiss your comfy spot good-bye.

She beelines toward it before you even realize what is happening. Then she settles in and looks cute and you just can't be mad at her.

But Keyser takes spot-stealing to a whole other level. She actually lures you off the couch.

She has been known to stand crying at her food and water bowl or make a racket at the garage door where she stands when she wants to go exploring.

Then the minute you get up to tend to her needs, Keyser runs (well she is a pretty large cat so more like waddles) to the couch and takes your spot.

I fall for it every time.
