Who is Teaching Nearby?

I'm going to keep talking about this, but my trip to Chicago last weekend was completely worth it. There are various other teachers sweeping through our neck of the woods this year. I've pinpointed a few here. If your LYS or guild is hosting someone that you want everyone to know about, please give us a shout at craftyliving at jg dot net. Or, if you just know about something, let us know, so we can share!

September 24-27, 2010 at City Knitting in Grand Rapids, Michigan

If you are ever traveling anywhere near Grand Rapids, stop in at this shop and plan to stay for hours. I hesitate to put into words what is happening here becasue words cannot possibly do justice. It is one of the warmest, most welcoming, inspiring, positive, kind, peaceful, and wonderful shops of any kind I have ever had the pleasure of being in. Lorilee Beltman, the owner, tells me that her customers say it is the "Cheers" of knit shops, and that does fit, except they are even better. Anyway, I am so happy to be coming back - contact Lorilee at lorilee@city-knitting.com for more information. Her website is:http://www.city-knitting.com

...and, of course, in June...

There is a whole slew of classes by different teachers being put on by the Stitch Cooperative in Columbus, Ohio.
