Making a move

Everett Williams left the game in the sixth inning. But it was only because manager Jose Flores wanted to give the outfielder a rest.

Williams has been hampered with soreness in his back and groin. With the team down 9-1, Flores decided to give Williams the rest of the night off so he can be ready for the remainder of the series.
