Digital Scrapbooking

I have wanted to try my hand at digital scrapbooking for a while. I have the software and I have the digital images. Yet, I find myself constantly wanting to do something with my hands when it comes to crafting, plus I work at a computer all day as it is, so who wants to sit down at a computer in their off time. However, I did manage to scrapbook a page from photos I took at a Relay for Life event I participate in. This was the group shot of our survivors and I wanted to keep it simple because, as anyone who attends Relay knows, the survivors are the stars. -- Joyce

Mirror image

I bought a a mirror several years ago that has a flat wood frame. I've always loved sea shells and, at the time, I was interested in sequins.

I decided to decorate the mirror's frame with sequins and sea shells. Basically, I put glue on the white-stained frame and placed the shells and sequins in the pattern I wanted. I don't remember what glue I used - probably a craft glue - but some of the sea shells have since come off and had to be glued back on.

I've displayed the mirror for years on a brass stand inside my curio cabinet.

No-Purl Skirt for Pearl

After Rhea's adorable crocheted skirt ran, we were asked for a knit version of the same idea. So, I made one. It was a fun little knit.
